Summer Cross Country conditioning practices commence on June 22!

 Marist Summer Cross Country conditioning practices will commence on Monday, June 22, 2020 at 8 am at the Track. Please enter the Track at the gate next to the Planetarium dome. Temperatures of all athletes will be checked at the entrance to the Track with an Infrared touch free thermometer, and daily health screening questions will be asked and recorded in IHSA log book before an athlete is allowed in practice.

 During Phase I, we are limited to 8 registered Athletes (Matthew O'Connor, Vince Moreno, Michael Golden, Tommy Kavanaugh, Kevin Bugos, Andrew Kerlin, Brendan Geary, and Jake Phillips) and two coaches (Jon Gordon, Dylan Allingham) at practices from June 22 - June 25, and June 29 - July 2, from 8 am - 9:30 am.

 We had more athletes register than spots available. If you were not one of the 8 athletes that received this opportunity, and/or Registered late, please note that it will be expanded to 50 registered athletes on July 13 (Phase II). To register, please have a parent go to www.marist.net, then click on the "Athletics" Tab, then click on the "Schedules" Tab, and then click on the "Registration" Tab.

 It is very important to record your weekly miles, and email them to the coaching staff every Sunday during the summer. You can obtain a Summer Training log by emailing Head Coach Jon Gordon at Gordon.Jon@Marist.net.

 Additional summer contact days for Incoming Freshman, 10th, 11th, and 12th grade Marist athletes with the coaching staff will take place July 13 - July 17 (Marist Running Camp), July 20-23, July 27-29, and August 3-6. In addition to the Running Camp (7/13 - 7/17), ALL Incoming Freshman are encouraged to attend contact days with the Sophomore Team, Junior Varsity Team, Varsity Team, and Coaching staff on July 20-23, July 27-29, and August 3-6. Mandatory practices will start on August 10. Please make an appointment for a Physical before August 10. Our first meet will take place on August 24. Thanks.
